I Am the Moon

On a warm August night, this giant moon appeared overhead in my backyard. The day had been filled with mixed messages, unsettling news, worry and fear on the horizon. Things that were totally out of my control. And then I walked outside to clear my head, and this gentle moon whispered her message, “I am the moon. I have been here for all time, shining my strength, lighting the darkness, guiding the path when the way feels lost. Lean on me, I AM…the Moon.”

I knew in my heart that everything would turn out just fine.
